"The observer who eventually becomes the storyteller."
Saurav Saha
Saurav is a cinematographer, photographer and filmmaker based in Bangladesh. He’s drawn to the quiet spaces between people, places and memory — the kind of stories that don’t always announce themselves, but stay with you long after the frame ends.
Over more than a decade and seventy-plus projects spanning film, documentary, commercial work, and music, his practice has stayed rooted in a simple curiosity: what does it mean to be human in this moment, in this place? Whether he’s working with contemporary stories or helping preserve pieces of historical memory, Saurav approaches every frame as a space for observation, emotion and meaning.
His work has screened at prestigious international festivals, including the Moscow International Film Festival, the Kolkata International Film Festival, the Dhaka International Film Festival and many more. At the heart of it all is a quiet belief: the best images don’t just capture a moment — they leave something of themselves with you.
